Tutoring Policy

Lesson Structure
All tutoring lessons are conducted online and last a minimum of 50 minutes.

Recurring Lessons
Recurring lessons are scheduled weekly and billed monthly. At the start of each new month, lessons are scheduled for the first four weeks. Subscriptions will continue until written or verbal cancellation is provided.

Single Lessons
Single lessons do not recur. A minimum of 18 hours' notice is required if a student wishes to book a lesson.

Punctuality and Attendance
Timeliness is essential for effective learning. Students are expected to attend lessons promptly. If a student is more than 30 minutes late or fails to attend a lesson without prior notice, the lesson will be forfeited and no refunds or credits will be issued.

Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations must be made in writing (email/text) with at least 24 hours’ notice. Up to 25% of lessons per month may be rescheduled, and all make-ups must be completed by the end of the following month. Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice or not rescheduled in time are forfeited.

Payment and Billing
All payments for tutoring services, including the discounted subscription plan, will be due in full by the 1st of each month. Non-recurring and single lessons must be paid for at the time of booking. Payments are non-refundable, except under exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the tutor.

Liability
While our tutors strive to provide the best tutoring experience possible, they are not liable for a student's academic performance or outcomes. Progress depends on the student's engagement, consistency, and commitment to their studies.

Communication
Clear communication is key. Any changes to scheduling, billing, or tutoring needs should be communicated promptly to avoid disruptions.

Confidentiality
All personal information shared for the purpose of tutoring, including but not limited to academic performance and learning needs, will be kept confidential and only used in the context of providing tutoring services.

Parental/Guardian Involvement
For students under the age of 18, parents or guardians must be involved in scheduling and billing decisions.

Modifications to Policy
This policy is subject to change with prior notice. Any amendments will be communicated via email or written correspondence and will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.

Agreement to Terms
By scheduling and attending tutoring sessions, the student (or parent/guardian if applicable) agrees to abide by these terms.
