More than anything, Meg loves helping students become genuinely confident in math, science, and their own ability to learn. Meg believes that the most important thing students can learn is how to think—not just how to memorize formulas or follow procedures. Her tutoring style is rooted in patience, clarity, and connection. She works to break challenging concepts down in ways that make sense while helping students develop the problem-solving skills, study habits, and mindset they need to succeed. Having experienced firsthand how frustrating it can be to feel lost in a class that moves too quickly or doesn’t explain things in a way that clicks, Meg strives to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and figuring things out.

Outside of tutoring, Meg enjoys stargazing, watercolor painting, hiking, journaling, and listening to audiobooks and podcasts.

KJ is a retired science educator with more than 25 years of experience teaching physics, chemistry, and astronomy in Texas. Throughout her career, KJ's has taught Conceptual Physics, AP Physics B, and University Physics. She has also taught chemistry from the introductory level through AP Chemistry, as well as college-level astronomy courses covering topics such as the Solar System, Stars, and Galaxies. After more than two decades in the classroom, KJ brings a wealth of knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for helping students understand how the world works. She especially enjoys helping students develop a deeper understanding of science rather than simply memorizing formulas and procedures.

Outside of teaching, KJ enjoys National Parks and exploring the night sky with her telescopes whenever possible. She and her husband are proud parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents to four younglings. And if you want to know a little more about KJ's personality, she puts it this way: Politically, Star Trek. Cosmically, Timey-Wimey. Religiously, Star Wars.

Felix is a senior at CU Boulder studying Physics with minors in Applied Mathematics and German. He has a passion for math and science and especially enjoys helping students develop the confidence and problem-solving skills they need to tackle challenging material. Felix believes that success in math and science isn’t just about memorizing formulas—it’s about learning how to think creatively, systematically, and with persistence. His goal as a tutor is to help students develop these skills while creating a supportive environment where they can ask questions, work through mistakes, and grow more comfortable with difficult concepts.

Outside of academics, Felix enjoys backpacking, skiing, reading, and playing guitar. He also believes that learning is a lifelong process and looks forward to learning and growing alongside the students he works with.
